Frequently Asked Questions
- Are tickets only for non-residents of Singapore?
As Pelago is appointed as one of the authorised overseas ticketing partners, we are only authorised to sell to non-residents of Singapore. You will be required to indicate your country of residence and acknowledge Singapore Grand Prix's ticketing terms and conditions before proceeding with your booking request.
- Are tickets sold by external parties or other websites valid?
Only Singapore GP’s Authorised Ticketing Partners (ATP) are permitted to sell Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2023 tickets.
If you see lower prices advertised elsewhere, these tickets are likely to be from unauthorised resellers, or may potentially be fraudulent tickets. Tickets sold by unauthorised resellers online or outside of Circuit Park will be voided and the ticketholder will be refused entry to the Event. Please refer to Clause 6.6 on Prohibition against Ticket on-selling and unauthorised Tickets on Singapore Grand Prix Terms & Conditions (Sale & Entry) here.
- I purchased a Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix ticket through Pelago. When will I receive it?
E-tickets will now be issued for grandstand and walkabout patrons in place of physical tickets. Your e-ticket(s) will be sent to your registered email address closer to the event.
Note: Customers who made bookings after 13 September 2023 may expect to receive your tickets 1 day before the event date. Do check your spam/junk/social folders.
- Why the switch to E-Tickets?
The Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix is one of many events that has made the switch to electronic tickets, beginning with a trial with general walkabout and grandstand tickets. This is in line with the current practice across various industries.
The decision was made during the pandemic as we wanted greater flexibility to respond to ongoing changes in COVID-19 safe management measures.
Furthermore, with e-tickets readily available on a mobile device, patrons can access their tickets whenever it is required. This eliminates the need for an additional trip prior to the event to collect a physical ticket and reduces the possibility of tickets being mishandled while being couriered. E-tickets also have the added advantage of being more environmentally friendly.
- Can I select my seat?
Your seat number will be indicated on the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix e-tickets that will be sent to you closer to the event. You may select your preferred ticket type but not the seating arrangements.
- Can I change or cancel my tickets?
Once bookings are confirmed, in line with the Terms and Conditions, cancellations and refunds are strictly not allowed.
However, if the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix 2023 is cancelled and cannot be rescheduled, we will contact all ticketholders. For more information on refunds and exchanges, please refer to Clause 8 of the Terms & Conditions here.
- Are children allowed to attend this event?
Singapore GP strongly advises that children under the age of seven should not attend the race for safety and operational reasons. Children below the age of seven will only be admitted if the parent/guardian signs a Form of Release, Waiver & Discharge of Liability and Indemnity Agreement which can be obtained from the website https://www.singaporegp.sg or the ticketing assistance counters at the Circuit Park.
For the avoidance of doubt, all persons regardless of age must have a valid Ticket to enter the Circuit Park.
